Anti-idiotypic antibodies (anti-ID Ab) are antibodies that identify and attach to the idiotypic center of other antibodies. Anti-idiotype antibodies are commonly employed in therapeutic drug development, such as immunogenicity evaluations and PK/PD studies.

Sino Biological offers a comprehensive spectrum of bespoke anti-idiotypic antibody manufacturing services, including antigen preparation, anti-idiotypic antibody development, detection method establishment, and kit development.

The company has expertise in high-throughput antibody expression and screening, as well as enzymatic cleavage and purification of diverse antibody formats.

The anti-ID antibodies exhibit excellent titer specificity and little cross-reactivity with human IgG. Anti-idiotypic antibodies, both polyclonal and monoclonal, can be created to aid in drug development, preclinical research and clinical trials.

Case studies of custom anti-idiotypic antibody development service

Case #1: Anti-idiotypic mAb generation

Sino Biological used the hybridoma technique to produce and identify nine anti-idiotype mouse monoclonal antibody clones. These antibodies had a strong specific affinity to the antibody-drug but no binding to human IgG isotype control or total human IgG.

Case #2: Anti-idiotypic pAb generation

Drugs A and B were the targets of two anti-idiotype rabbit polyclonal antibodies. Anti-idiotype polyclonal antibodies purified in four steps exhibited a 2% cross-reactivity with human IgG.
