The Thermocycler Module from Opentrons, which is designed to work with the OT-2 and Flex Robots, offers a completely automated thermocycling experience on-deck, allowing for automated PCR processes within a 96-well plate configuration.
The Thermocycler Module GEN2 is compatible with the new Opentrons Flex Robot when combined with the Flex Thermocycler Caddy and Calibration Adapter. The caddy is positioned beneath the deck to allow for below-deck cable routing, and labware put on modules is kept closer to the deck surface. The calibration adaptor is used to calibrate the module’s location.
