pH Meters

pH meters are electric appliances used for measuring the- alkalinity or acidity of a solution. pH is measured using potentiometric methods or pH indicators such as indicator solutions or strips (litmus paper).

The pH meter consists of a reference electrode and a pH electrode, and the potential difference between these two electrodes is measured. The pH of the solution can be directly calculated from the value of potential. When working in the calibration mode, pH meters can automatically distinguish between buffer solutions and upgrade themselves. The pH meter is constructed in such a way that the available pH value is displayed and not the measured potential.

pH meters are widely used in the diagnosis of diseases, pharmaceuticals, laboratories, dyeing, brewing, agriculture, and corrosion prevention.
